Situated on the south bank of the Tagus estuary, and gateway to the most important wetlands in Europe, Alcochete municipality integrates the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, benefiting from a privileged access to capital through the Vasco da Gama Bridge, in addition to access to Northern highway, IC 32 and the connection A2. 
The county is composed of three parishes: Alcochete, Samouco and San Francisco.

MONTIJO

MONTIJO

To live in Montijo is to live with a privileged location in the metropolitan area of Lisbon. It is living at the gates of the capital, as well as the major urban centers. You live in a city with its own identity,  it being both safe and quiet. The municipality of Montijo is comprised of five parishes and parish unions: União das Freguesias de Atalaia e Alto Estanqueiro-Jardia; Freguesia de Canha; União das Freguesias Montijo e Afonsoeiro; União das Freguesias de Pegões e Freguesia de Sarilhos Grandes.

PALMELA

PALMELA

The municipality of Palmela, with 461 km2, is the largest of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. Located in a central position of the Setúbal peninsula, between three of the most important national protected areas - the Arrábida Natural Park (PNA), the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve (RNES) and the Tagus Estuary Nature Reserve (RNET) - the two estuaries and the mountains, covering areas of the PNA and RNES (respectively 15.28 km2 and 17.01 km2).

SESIMBRA

SESIMBRA

The municipality of Sesimbra is located in the Setúbal Peninsula, about 30 kilometers away from Lisbon and Setúbal, which is equivalent to just over half an hour's journey from each of these cities. Access from Lisbon is done through the A2 highway, until the exit to Fogueteiro, and then through EN378. From the Setúbal side, access is made from EN10 to Azeitão, and then EN379. The territory is divided into the parishes of Santiago, Castelo and Quinta do Conde.
